Program Updates

COMING THIS FALL:

Mandatory HIPAA training:

Starting this fall students wanting career exploration opportunities in medical and dental fields will be required to complete HIPAA training and pass the test at 90% or better before they will be scheduled for a job shadow in those fields.  The seminar will be taught by a medical professional.  Students will receive a certificate which can be placed in their portfolio.  The seminar will be offered every other month in several locations throughout Yakima County.

Internships:

Beginning this fall internships will be available that align with WASL standards and may be used as Collection of Evidence.
